I’ve spent Halloween in many strange places through the years. It seems that I am alway somewhere for the event. Los Angeles, Honolulu, and Las Vegas just to name a few. I’ve done NYC several years for some strange reason. Hollywood was the most entertaining. Jesus and the Romans stand out as a memorable costume. (Great band name by the way!) The NYC abortion woman was striking. I loathe the occassion, but am a little entertained regardless as you can tell.
Anyway, had some great Thai food at a place called Highline last night in the Meat Packing District. Tonight is earmarked for Korean Vegetarian in Midtown at Hangawi.
Tomorrow, I am back to the doldrum that is Atlanta. No travel this week other than the return home, if I can help it. I bought a new car after not owning a car since March in a place where you can’t survive without a car unless you work from home and fly everywhere for work. My indie-rock-hipster-kid side doesn’t allow the foreign luxury automobiles that I crave, but I defy those sterotypes again and again.
