Added a ton of photographs today. Some are from India, others are domestic. I protected the vast majority of the India and New Year’s Eve pics using a login and password.

I’m in Milan, Italy at the moment as I write this. I’m waiting for my return flight to the States. I’ve spent the last five days in New Delhi, India visiting some relatives. It was quite relaxing, but cold no doubt.
In the time that I was in India, I took over 1500 photographs. Can’t wait to get home to share/show them. Anyhow, more when I get home. Sorry for the lack of timely updates. Much to share later in terms of thoughts, etc.
Things are well so far. No problems to report. I did elbow a guy in the gut for getting too close to me on an airplane. I don’t like strange men fondling my behind on airplanes (or anywhere else for that matter.)
Thought I would pipe in with a few tidbits from 13,000 miles away. Here are some recent thoughts:
1. Colonialism and missionaries are the scoured of civilization. Until completely eliminated, we will continue to have wars of religion and sovereignty.
2. India will never change unless corruption is eliminated and law is properly enforced. The environment is deteriorating at a startling pace as the infrastructure bellies in exhaustion.
3. Indian weddings are too long.
4. Pizza Hut does a decent job in India.
5. Dominos sucks ass.
Got back from Columbia and have been in a huge hurry or so it seems lately. I need to get back into photography as art. It’s the only thing that I’m good at. I exposed myself as a terrible singer when we did drunken karaoke this past weekend after eating sushi (the vegetarian type for me). I can’t carry a note to save my life. Odd that I have a good ear but a terrible voice? No? I think I have a good ear anyway.

Thought I would add a couple of black and whites, all taken at Goatfeathers in Columbia. The photographs of the corks and the red lamp(s) are probably some of my best recent work.
So it’s a new year — who the hell cares? 150,000 people just died in an instant. We could have been one of those unlucky enough to be remotely near the affected areas.
New Year’s Eve is meant to be spent in the presence of family and friends. I am not the rah-rah count-down-the-clock because the ball is about to drop type of person. [I either hyphenate too much or not enough -- never consistently.]
But, that’s specifically what I did — hung out with some of my closest friends. I did a few Bob Pollard rock ‘n roll kicks and busted my *ss in the process. [I agreed to limit the use of profanity as to not make the work firewall content sensors go crazy and then result in HR paying a visit to your cube. Hell is and will continue to be tolerated speech in my book]
Anyway, more about NYE later. I added some photos of our renovation project for Lincoln Street. There really aren’t specific phases, it’s just the fourth set of photographs really. See the links section for Phase IV photographs.
