Google at $350/share, $100B Market Cap

by Raj on October 28, 2005

Trading near it’s 52-week high of $350/share, I’m thanking my lucky stars that I didn’t short Google when it was trading near $200. Don’t listen to me when it comes to stock picks regardless of what I say. If it doesn’t have anything to do with the following subjects (in no particular order), then I should be completely ignored:

Music
Enterprise software
International politics
Spoken Mandarin Chinese
The 5 classified growths of France
File system filter drivers in theory and practice
Ice Cube’s parts on “Straight Outta Compton”
The lottery as a regressive excise tax
Storage 2.0 — The Next Generation Of Data Management
Delicacies of South India
Tofu preparation, now and for the future
Pearl cultivation, Asian regional only
Beagle breeding, AKC style
Landmine removal, Asian region only

I'd really like to hear your thoughts regarding spoken Mandarin Chinese as well as Beagle breeding and pearl cultivation. Seems like you just pulled those out of your a$$
