USV and Feedburner

There doesn’t seem to be a ton of blog buzz about USV and their recent announcement that they’ve joined the investor team supporting Feedburner.

I think I know why. It’s a no brainer investment. Does Feedburner have even a competitor for RSS feed stats? If they do have such, the competition is so far behind that the net result is negligible.

The other reason that the buzz has been light is probably also related to the fact that Feedburner has had great VC leadership (and funding) before Fred and Brad stepped in.

Frankly, I see USV’s involvement and participation in Feedburner’s continued growth more valuable than their actual investment. Congrats to the team!
